Rectalvision
Oil this morning is $91.00 a barrel.Highest its been in years. Do you wonder why ? I did, so i researched a little. Before i tell you what i found let me say that i take notice of this for 2 reasons, 1) gas up here is over $3.00 a gallon and home heating fuel is almost $3.00 a gallon. Both are ridiculous. So here's what i found. First the US government says that our crude supplies have shrunk by 4 million barrels. OK, supply and demand, but wait if you dig a little deeper you find out that our gasoline supply has GROWN by more than 2 million barrels. I also found that oil industry analysts say that some of the shortage appears to be due to year end inventory adjustments rather than higher demand or shortage of supplies. In fact our current crude oil supplies are 10% higher than the 2004 - 2008 time period. So apparently it's not basic economics, ie. supply and demand, therefore it must be something else. I found that the energy markets consultants are saying, "prices are rising because investors are optimistic about the economy" and it is "highly connected to the direction of the equities markets and confidence in a global recovery" . WTF. Equities market is consultant smoke. there are basically 2 markets, debt which is bonds and equities which are STOCKS. Sooooo it would appear someone is pushing the stock market. OK so lets all jump on that band wagon. This morning Exxon Mobil is trading for $73 and change, so lets see, i can put about $1100.00 on that band wagon, great, now if the stock goes up $1.00, which by the way is alot , how much will i make? Not enough to pay the transaction fee for the trades. It works out to about $15.00 profit. Surprise, once again big money is manipulating the markets to get richer and we pay for it at the pump. America, please take your head out of your ass. Its time to do something. Write your congressman, drive less, protest the oil companies, protest the government, something.. Hows this Iraq owes us billions of dollars. What if we MAKE then repay us in reasonably priced oil. Say $40.00 a barrel. It cost them $4.00 a barrel to get it out of the ground. Seems fair to me. Think about this. Current gas prices at the pump, Saudi Arabia .91, Kuwait .78 , Egypt .65 , Nigeria .38, Venezuela .12 You see anywhere on that list our Men haven't bled in their sand ? This is also quite disturbing. I saw today that its being reported that Iraqi Muslims are massacring Iraqi Christians. 68 Iraqi catholics where murdered during a mass simply because they where christian. Apparently Christians all over Iraq are being persecuted for their faith. They are not even allowed to celebrate Christmas. So much for " operation Iraqi Freedom ". My friends, once again i must ask you to please take your head out of your ass. This is a holy war. The enemy believes that as Christians we are the devil and must be eliminated. Well i'm goin upstairs to dust off my cowboy hat, remember "cowboys and muslims".

History, stupidty and other lessons
Well the Senate, still under Democratic control, yesterday passed a bill extending all the so called " Bush era " tax cuts. Good news. It is interesting though that the Dems. are calling for bipartisan action on a bill they have opposed for 10 years, also passed in that bill is a continuation of the estate tax breaks and with higher limits. They also tossed in an extension of the unemployment benefits, thank you, Perhaps the mid term elections opened some minds to the peoples desires.Hopefully it will now pass the house intact. This is actually a simple thing. Lower taxes means more money in our pockets which for the vast majority of people means more money spent and positive economic reactions. Estate taxes should be totally outlawed as it is a tax on money that has already been taxed. One of the reasons our forefathers broke away from merry old England was for taxes on taxes... I also agree with the extension of unemployment benefits as jobs are still scarce and those benefits help keep people afloat and that money dose go right back into the economy. In mid-October we passed a mile stone that i believe has gone fairly unnoticed. We have now been fighting in Afghanistan for 10 years. If you recall the soviets were only there for 9 years. Is it fair to mention Viet Nam, republic of..... Depending on whom you believe the US government spent between $3 and $40 billion to arm the Mujahideem freedom fighters against the soviets.. ANYONE CARE TO GUESS WHO WE ARE FIGHTING..............Apparently the only thing we learn from history is that we don't learn anything from history.

i'm back
Well all of you who have e-mailed and face booked me are correct. I wont list the excuses but I'm back. I will be unable to post again till mid Oct. as i have a work project that will be taking all my time starting next Tuesday. While i wasn't writing i was researching a number of topics suggested to me by friends and interested parties and even attempted to write about a couple of them. What i discovered was that i really didn't give a shit and couldn't put a series of intelligent sentences together. Therefore if you have a topic than you write about it, because unless it hits my hot button you wont see it here. Someone posted a comment on my last blog, thank you. It was intelligent, appropriate, and most importantly it was their opinion. I don't care if you agree with me or not. I appreciate your comments. After all this is America the land of freedom. I have never been accused of being politically correct so I'm just gonna dive in on this next one. I'm sure you all heard of the pastor from Florida who was going to burn a Koran in protest, He didn't. However the local police in his town have sent him a bill for "protection" in the amount of $200,000.00. WTF, I really don't care if you feel that pastors proposed actions were appropriate or not, He has a right to express himself. First of all, the pastor has the right to act, secondly the police have the responsibility to protect citizens from harm or perceived harm. I'm confused, I've heard of police payoffs and I've heard of paying protection money, but I've never heard of publicly paying the police protection money. Besides the pastor got a bum deal, I know some guys from the old neighborhood who would have been alot cheaper and if needed I'm positive would have done a better job. Now while all that discussion was going on, about whether to burn or not to burn, the radicals in the middle east were protesting with riots, burning our Flag, and actually murdering some people. Its probably just me but I"ve never been able to play nice with assholes. So let me tell you a story. Three strangers come together in the Bozeman Montana airport, all waiting for their prospective flights. A Native American passing through from Lame Deer, a cowboy on his way to Billings for a livestock show and a fundamentalist Arab student newly arrived at Montana State . The discussion drifts to their diverse cultures. Soon the two westerners learn the Arab is a radical Muslim fundamentalist and the conversation falls to an uneasy lull.
The Native American begins starring out at the mountains. The cowboy sits down, crosses his boots on a table, lights a cigarette, and pulls the brim of the big stetson down over his eyes. The Arab student begins reading. The Native American breaks the silence and softly says, "once we where many here..but now we are few". The Muslim student raises an eyebrow, leans forward and sneers, "once we where few but now we are many. Why do you think that is? ". The cowboy removes the cigarette from his mouth and from the darkness beneath his Stetson in a smooth drawl says," I reckon that's because we ain't played cowboys and muslims yet. But its com'in ".I'm old and tired, but particularly tired of the bullshit. It's time to saddle up.

over the edge
I saw this, like everyone else, the other day however i had to calm down a little prior to writing about it. This is too much. The president has stepped over the line. His endorsement of a Mosque on the 9/11 sight is insulting. His premise that this has something to do with freedom of religion is ridiculous. I really hope that He simply doesn't get it. I'd hate to think that it's just another step in His agenda. This endorsement is about as crude and insulting as suggesting that we replace the Rose Garden with a watermelon patch. Lest we forget, this is the sight wear over 3000 people were killed in a sneak terrorist attack by low life's who themselves proclaimed it a "holy war". An attack carried out by religious fanatics who happen to be affiliated with the Muslin Faith. A Mosque at that sight would forever be a unwanted link between a legitimate religion and terrorist fanatics.
This President seems to think that He can say anything and the American public will simply go along like a bunch of mindless sheep. Well, Mr. President your wrong. Over the past two years you have gotten our attention and we are listening. You should do the same. The Amendment which deals with freedom of religion states that the government shall not be involved in the establishment of a religion. Your endorsement certainly seems as thou you need to study the Constitution. You remember that.. government by the people and for the people, not by and for the politicians, not for personal agendas and not for what someone might think is best for the "sheep" but for what the people want. why would you care
Hi guys, I'm back... The stuff that makes the news these days is interesting. Were in the middle of a recession and the headlines are a bunch of crap no one cares about.. Or maybe it's just me. So here's some big time news.. The most played artist of the last decade, of any genre, is..... Tim McGraw..Now i know I'm an old hippie rocker but i cant tell you one of Tim's songs..and hes had more air time than any other artist over the last ten years..wow.. I'm really glad to know that.. Shaq signs with the Celtics.. so.. another over the hill millionaire athlete will continue to embarrass himself. Go sit around with Brett Farve,,, Harley might leave Milwaukee.. Now that's sad.. after all there known as "Milwaukee Iron" If your gonna spend $36,000.00 on a bike do you really care where its built??? Now for the important stuff. We stayed at some dear friends camp last week, a lovely place on a lake here in the UP. Great time and good friends. anyway I promised them my recipe for dry rub so here it is. I dont usually share this stuff but consider this a bonus to my half dozen loyal readers.
ok... 1/2 cup black pepper.. 1/2 cup season salt.. 1 1/4 cup white sugar... 1/4 cup brown sugar.. 1 tablespoon salt... 1 tablespoon dry mustard.. 3/4 tablespoon chili powder.. and 1/2 tablespoon Cayenne pepper... mix and store for use..
when its time to use it you simply rub liberally into your meat, wrap tightly, and refrigerate for 3 or 4 hours... than cook on the grill.. if you use bar b que sauce apply the last 5 mins. or so.. You will enjoy this with or without barbque sauce.

Illegals and immorals
It's gonna get interesting. Arizona's immigration law is now on hold. A federal judge has ruled that at least parts of the law are unconstitutional. I believe that both parties are correct to a degree. The Feds are saying that under a constitutional term known as Pre-emption they have the right to handle immigration on a federal level. The feds say that individual state laws will lead to a patchwork system and disrupt a carefully balanced approach to immigration. On the surface of this argument they are correct. I will refrain from commenting on their "carefully balanced system" at this point. Arizona, on the other hand , has over 400,000 undocumented residents and a huge problem with drugs coming into our country through their boarder. They contend that the federal program isn't working.. You get to decide on your opinion. Here's mine. Lets say someone or a number of someones where threatening my home and or family. The people who are suppose to protect us are the local police and I'm sure they do a very good job. Bottom line is by the time the police got here all that would be left to do is zip the baggies shut. Sometimes the need out ways the politics...
The House Ethics Committee (oxymoron) accused N.Y. Rep. Charles Rangel of 13 violations of congressional ethics standards. Appears that the big one is neglecting to report rental income from his Dominican Republic villa for the last 8 years . The number I heard was in excess of $ 600,000.00. This guy has been in congress for 40 years. That's right 40 years and only 13 charges, WTF. If it were you or I the IRS would have us in jail by now. Oh I forgot to tell you Rangel stepped down in march from the House Ways and Means Chairmanship due to an "unrelated" ethics case.. Maybe He should retire.
Locally we have four guys running on the republican side for the open House of Representative seat. I like Tom Stillings. He is pro-life, pro-gun, pro-business,pro-America, and wants to bring all our troopers home. I agree with all of that and since its my blog I get to express it. I Think Thear ly'in to us
So everything i hear from our President seems to indicate he wants us to believe that thee economy is improving. I don't know about you but i don't think so. The Federal government is spending our money at an alarming rate. They are adding $ 1 Trillion to the deficit every 9 months. Its our money, we have to pay it back, sorry my share will be late this month, I'm broke. A trillion is a really big number and hard for me to get my head around. This might help. If a 65 year old man spent a trillion dollars on an annuity he would receive $ 6.3 BILLION every MONTH for the rest of his life...The above stats came from Kiplinger. The National League of Cities just released a study which indicates that local governments across the country will fire approximately 500,000 people in the coming 12 months and this will include police and fire.. I guess they agree with me.... the economy sucks....

Doctors.... the number of doctors in the United States is approximately 700,000...

The lighter side
My oldest daughter, the one who just had our beautiful new grand daughter, has taken to posting one liner facts on her facebook page. Every day. You know the type, the kind of stuff you read and think , oh good more mental clutter. I have a tendency to remember most everything i read and usually that's a very good thing however this stuff is sort of like hair balls in your sink, it just backs it up. So in deference to my lovely daughter's inspiration here are 10 little known facts of life.
1. There's too much youth... how about a fountain of smart
2. The gene pool could use a little chlorine
3. As long as there are tests, there will be prayer in school
4. Forget about world peace.. visualise using your turn signal
5. Dogs never need to "examine" the relationship
6. We are born naked, wet, and hungry.. then things get worse
7. Diplomacy is the art of saying "nice dogie" until you can find a rock
8. Puritanism.. the haunting fear that someone, somewhere may be happy
9. Jesus loves you its everyone else that thinks your an asshole
and number 10
A cat almost always blinks when you hit it in the head with a ball peen hammer

SUP
The title of today's blog is multi-purposed. One because there is a variety of topics and two for my buddy Francis back in the commonwealth. SUP Francis. Michael Jordan says he wouldn't of done the deal Labron made even if Larry and Magic where amiable to the package. Jordan says He preferred playing against the best as opposed to with them. I guess six rings determines who has the bigger set. I wanna be like Mike.... My old buddy Wild Bill Clinton has made a "bucket list", who cares.... Do you remember Alvin Greene? I posted about Him a couple of months ago. He is the guy from South Carolina who won the Democratic nomination for senate over an incumbent. Well Alvin made his first campaign speech the other day. It lasted 6 & 1/2 min. in front of about 400 people. The press reports that he was well received and spoke well. I love this.. Go Alvin Go......The Chinese are having an oil crisis, not the fuel oil type but the cooking oil type. It seems the street people are collecting the old cooking oil and garbage in it and recycling it. They filter it to feed the solids to the pigs and resell the oil to the restaurants. Lots of sightings of people on bicycles grabbing oil at the back door, cat sightings ,however, are still down....
The Tea Party seems to be in the news more and more. There current stated purpose is to generate interest in the mid term elections. I agree, the primary;s this summer and the elections this fall could be among the most important in our countries history. Our elected officials do not seem to be listening to the people, which is their main function. Its time to send a message by changing over as many incumbents as possible. Its time for WE the People to run our country. The government is running our country into the ground. The economy is a disaster, the trade deficit is completely upside down, and the national debt is out of control. If we do not recover our government with these elections i fear the next agenda will be extremely difficult on everyone.

Wow All Kinds of Stuff
Hey there everyone... lots of stuff today..The British Open is underway and the friend of every duffer in the world is high on the leader board. John Daly, you remember John, the proponent of non-performance enhancing drugs, was in second place 1 shot off the lead after the first round. Coke and cigarettes on the course.. gotta love him.. I wonder where he got those pants... I'd love a pair...Hit another 300 yard er John. Hassan Nemazee, stole $ 292 MILLION and just was sentenced to 12 years. Federal guidelines call for 20 years. WTF Oh yeah, i forgot , it's who you know. It seems as though Hassan was the National Finance Chairman for Hilary's 08 campaign. He also raised money for Wild Bill, Al Gore, John Kerry, and oh yeah, Obama. Think he'll serve the full 12 ??? Me neither. Yooper News..... Murder Seth Privacky was shot and killed yesterday while trying to escape from a yooper prison.. Koodo's to the correction officer who got him. Saved me some tax dollars. Seth was convicted of killing his parents, grandfather, brother, and brother's girlfriend. Ther's a lot to be said for deer camp training.. go yoopers....The "Bank Bill" was passed by the Senate yesterday. Not sure why it's called the bank bill, it seems to have more to do with controlling wall street than banks. It is difficult to tell however since the bill is 23 HUNDRED pages long. What I've seen says it gives alot more power to the federal government. I'm shocked. New agencies, more regulations, more oversight committees, power to break up "teetering" companies. This remember was one of Obama's prise pieces of legislation. I wonder what else is in all those pages ?? You think anyone has a special interest or 20 . 2300 pages, you know Webster's New World Dictionary, 3rd college edition is only 1557 pages. That would be every word in the language, it's pronunciation, and multiple meanings. The NIV Study Bible is 1950 pages. That's only everything God had to say. Once again Congress steps up and declares they are smarter than Webster and more important than God. Am i out of line here ?? I didn't think so either. One more thing, Charles Nenner has said He believes that the Dow is headed down to 5000 and that the economy won't recover until 2020. I'd keep an eye on that Mr. Nenner has proven to be a pretty smart guy. Thats it .... headed back to Camp Bubba... I can here those martini's calling my name... bubba drink me...

Not Lazy, Relaxing at Camp Bubba
Yeah I know it's been awhile. We were at Camp Bubba for about a week and part of the beauty is no Internet. I wasn't going to come back yet but we ran out of beer. What a catastrophe. So here we go. Our President was overseas instead of home attempting to fix our economy and while in Europe APOLOGIZED for Americans being arrogant. WTF. Are you aware that there are over 104,000 American troops BURIED IN Europe from the two world wars. I guess saving their collective asses is arrogant. I wonder how many French, Dutch, English, or other Europeans or Middle Eastern are buried here who died defending this country. I don't know but I'm betting it's a pretty small number. Come on Mr President , please remove your head from your ass and get busy here at home. According to the latest Washington Post poll 60% of Americans say they "lack faith " in Obama. I'm shocked. In other news FICO reports that 30% of all consumers have credit scores that make them a poor risk. This means it's unlikely they can get a loan for a major purchase, like a car or house. This is a worm hole. When people cant borrow it dramatically impacts our economy in a negative fashion. A poor credit score = less credit = less production = less jobs= poorer credit scores. Fico also stated that the amount of people with poor scores will continue to rise. Of course the credit score people want you to spend some of your credit card balance on purchasing their service to find out what your score is. Did you know that every time your score is accessed it has a negative effect on your rating. So like i said it's a worm hole.People no longer lend to people computers do. Computers adjust your score and your score determines your lend ability. Just one more major problem with our economy. Ronald Regan said " Freedom is never more that one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the blood stream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was like in the United States when men where free. " Are you ready to fight for freedom ? There are elections in November, we need to toss All of them out. Be A Boy Scout be PREPARED.

Who's in Charge Here
Watching the news is getting more depressing than ever. Our country is racing down hill toward a cliff and when we go over it will be a very hard fall. Last week Obama met with the Russian President, Dmitry Medvedev, and they agreed to expand cooperation on intelligence and to strength economic ties. The Russians are in worse shape than us. So i guess this means we tell them our secrets and give them money. When asked about our involvement in Afghanistan the Russian replied "Your screwed". Now Obama is about to talk to us about immigration reform. This should be good, He already says He doesn't like the new Arizona law and wants to give the illegals a chance at amnesty.Did you know that other boarder States are looking to enact their own laws similar to Arizona's. The federal government isn't paying attention to the people. they have done nothing about illegals. Now Nancy Pelousie wants a law that taxes your gains in the stock market again, including your retirement accounts at the modest rate of 55% and proposes to give that money to the poor illegals. According to Websters the definition of a republic is, " a government in which SUPREME POWER resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers and representatives responsible to them and governing according to law". Dose that sound like what is happening in Washington to you ? No me neither. We must make wholesale changes. That means voting those people who don't listen out of office.Our representatives are not being responsible and in some cases not acting according to law. Pursuit of Happiness
Hey everyone, how are you ? I've been sort of busy. Yesterday was the bi-annual family reunion on my wife's dad's mother's side of her family. Did you follow that ? Me neither and I'm married to her. So its the families of her grandma's kids. These are good catholics so all the families are large. Half live here and half down in Ohio.Not sure but about 75-85 people not counting the little kids. Now for me it's a challenge because Suzie and I have been together about 3 years so this was my second reunion. I "volunteered " to cook some pulled pork, about 35 #'s worth, so i was a little busy between cooking and studying the Christmas card list so I'd know who went with who. You'll be glad to know it was a ragging success. I know this because the pork was all gone and i won the 50/50 drawing. Ilo of participating in the games i decided to drink beer with one of her relatives from Ohio and laugh at the people trying to pick up a toy car while blind folded with a magnet tied to their ass. Quite amusing. Went to one of the local taverns with some of the Ohio people and Suzie's aunt from Chicago and had a great time. I'm telling you all this by way of explaining why I've been MIA for the last few days. The wife and i are headed to Camp Bubba tonight for a couple of days, just her and i. Deja Vu all over again
Well I guess Yogi Berra had it right, cause here we go again. Yesterday Pres. Obama fired Gen. McChrystal and replaced him with Gen. Petraeus. In case you missed my blog from last week this is the guy who fainted under " pointed questions " from Sen. McClain in some senate hearings. He also came up with a strategy known as COIN when he was outcast to fort Leavenworth in the early 2000's. This is the counter insurgency strategy which was successful in Irag. W put him in charge when things weren't going well and he was successful. It wont work in Afghanistan. It;s a different set of circumstances. Their feudal system wont lend itself to social programs. If you haven't noticed we are also reviving the problem of civilian leadership in a military situation. That is precisely where McChrystal was headed with his comments. Its the classic Who;s in charge here. In case you forgot the Russians languished in Afganistan for at least nine years as did the French in the People's Republic of. Now we have the wrong guy,with the wrong strategy,in the wrong place, led by a politician who is clueless. Beginning to sound like 1970 all over again. Deja Vu

I'm Back
Well it was a great weekend. Our new Granddaughter is extra special. It was great to visit with Her Mom and Dad. The birthday celebration was a good time, and Camp Bubba well it's Camp Bubba. The birthday girl has a new hobby, raising mice as lizard food. Her boyfriend has a couple of lizards which are getting large and require a more substantial diet, yep mice. She is qualified for this. As a child she had two " same sex " gerbils. Next thing i knew i had 32 of the little bastards loose in the attic. It's good she has her own place. Personally , i hope they all get out, the great escape would be poetic justice. In the news i see our commanding General in Afghanistan, Gen. McChrystal, is being called on the carpet for speaking the truth. What a shame.He said Joe Biden is a dope and that our ambassador is covering his ass. I agree with both statements. Why is it that the boss wants to hear your opinion and then cant handle it. Seems to happen all too often. If Pres. Obama fires the Gen. it will be the second Afgan commander He's let go in just over a year. Nothin like consistency. While at Camp Bubba this weekend i was reading some articles about the wolf controversy; whether or not the population should be controlled viva a limited hunting season. As you can imagine there are quite varying opinions on the subject. It reminded me of a story i heard years ago while hunting in Wyo.. It was reported to me as a true story. Anyway the ranchers in Wyo. were having a problem with wolves raiding and feeding on their sheep. A meeting was held to determine the best course of action and was attended by some specialists from Washington, including a young lady who was suppose to have the answers. After a lenghty discussion outlying the problem the young lady addressed the crowd of ranchers and described in detail her thoughts on the problem and the resolution. Her answer was to identify the wolves dens and then go back in the spring and remove the newborn wolves and neuter then. When she finished speaking it was quite in the room until a weathered old rancher stood and said " Ma'm you don't understand the problem. the wolves are eating the sheep not screw'in em ". The government just never quite understands the problem.

Who'da thunk it
Here are some items that i stumbled over and found interesting. They really were on a " Mission from God ". The Vatican, yesterday, blessed the cult movie The Blues Brothers. That's right, Jake, Elwood, and the Penguin are now on the official list of " Catholic Classics ". Some of the other movies on the list are ,The Ten Commandments, Jesus of Nazareth, Joan of Arc, and Its a Wonderful Life. I really don't see the fit but I'm delighted, Blues Brothers is one of my fav's. I have this vision of the Pope and a Cardinal sitting in a car, " it's 106 miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas, a half a pack of cigarettes, its dark , and were wearing sunglasses. " and the Pope says " Hit It " . Makes you wonder whats next on their list, Blazing Saddles ? Alvin Green is an unemployed black man from South Carolina. He lives with his 81 yr old father and reportedly owns neither a cell phone nor a computer. He was involuntarily discharged from the military after 13 years of service and is allegedly facing obscenity charges. However Alvins future is looking brighter than you might think. Last week Alvin won the democratic primary for the U S Senate seat with 59% of the vote. This November he might be Senator Green. Power to the people Alvin, "America what a country i coulda been somebody". On the darker side last night the state of Utah executed a convicted murder, by FIRING SQUAD. the only thing better would have been if it was carried out in downtown Salt Lake. Well that's it for now, busy weekend. Going to see our new granddaughter Khloe, then celebrating a B-day with another daughter ( who's apple didn't fall far from the tree ) then Camp Bubba.. see ya next week..Be safe,party hard, and try to keep up.........

I Don't Get It
So it's time to address the World Cup. First let me tell you that I'm not a soccer guy. I love the NFL, i follow hockey ( Go Blackhawks ) , some basketball, even golf and an occasional NASCAR event, but soccer i don't get. Apparently this puts me in the minority, once again, of things that are popular. Frankly i don't give a shit, however i am trying. I've been following the games on ESPN and the web and even attempted to watch a game. Trying to watch a game was brutal. First if you don't get it you have to depend on the announcers to explain things. What a fricken joke, one guy was British, hard to understand, they don't speak American. The other guy was a Scotsman, wow. Have you ever heard Robin Williams talk about how golf was invented ? well that's this guy . could not understand a word. " ahhhh thouou midfifier blabla strike bla bla bla foot bla bla goallllllllllllllllllllll . WTF just happened ? The other thing that makes it hard to follow is the 5 hundred pound bumble bee that seems to be at every game. WTF, all you can here is that big son of bitch buzzing.... I have picked up on one or two things. First the rs this thing called a yellow card, apparently if you play too hard, or celebrate you get one. One guy scored a goal and took off his shirt and ran around . He got a yellow card. I guess that's not bad, the last time I removed an article of clothing and ran around I got arrested. I would have preferred a yellow card. I saw that FIFA is busting a bunch of babes in orange mini skirts. Apparently it was set up by some small dutch beer company and Budweiser (official sponsor ) was pissed. I think FIFA should get a yellow card for that one. The babes were fun to watch. The other thing I've picked up on is these fans do know how to party. it was reported that after the South African teams first game that condom sales in Johannesburg increased 5 times. Party on.... Oh yeah the S. African team lost yesterday so now they must beat the French, so who hasn't. The big upset was Spain loosing to the Swiss. I guess this was pretty embarrassing. The Spanish team did announce a line up change,apparently Francisco Franco will now be playing middle fielder for Spain. If any of you care game 7 of the NBA finals is tonight. Bye for now ,i have to go watch the US Open.

W T F
My son, the 30 something, who lives in the urban sprawl that makes up the Chicago metro and who daily labors for the establishment, facebooked me. He commented on the old man's writings. It was a simple comment, " cracker ". My response, " You inspire me " . So lets get "crack en " . Yesterdays local paper had an article concerning a police raid. It seems that elements of the Esky public safety, county sheriff, and state police including K9, the states helicopter,and swat team raided a local motorcycle club. 30 minutes after assaulting the house with flash-bangs, dogs, and the body armored swat team it was determined that NOBODY WAS HOME. I wonder what that cost ? Well with this type of police presence i know I'll sleep better knowing that anarchy will not roam the streets of Escanaba in the moonlight. Could it be that their informant was also helping George W with the WMD's in the gulf ? How about Gen. David Petraeus, commander of the U S Central Command, fainting under " intense questioning " by the senate armed services committee. This is the guy who runs the Gulf war. They reported that the collapse came just as Sen. John McCain was wrapping up a round of "pointed questions" . McCain hasn't asked a pointed question since he asked Cindy to marry him. Sen. Carl Levin was quoted as saying "he probably just didn't drink enough water before the hearing ". Water ? Really Carl. Good thing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Special Ops all have their own commands. Keep on kick'in ass boys. So did you see the President last night. He sure was tough on that oil company. I might just run over to Menards today to order my solar panels. Obama has formed ,by my count, at least 4 new committees to investigate this disaster, I'm sure that will fix it. They can talk about what to do while the Gulf Coast rots away. Obama did shut down all the other oil wells in the gulf while they talk about it,which seems like a good idea. By the way, did you know that Obama lent $2 billion to Brazil last year. Yeah its for off shore oil exploration. It went to Petrobras, which is the Brazilian state oil company. Hers a coincidence, George Soros, the Presidents buddy has $900 million invested in that same oil company, that's the largest single investment in Soros's portfolio. Well i suppose someone should make a buck or maybe a billion or 2 off the biggest environmental disaster in the history of this country. WTF... Keep pounding your chest Mr. President ,your ratings might go up. Tomorrow, something else i know almost nothing about the World Cup. See ya

In the begining
Welcome to " The Guy From Esky " . Here you will find my perspective on life, liberty and the pursuit of happieness. It will be my reality and therfore my truth. It is my hope that i make you think, laugh, and react. If i piss you off then i have achieved a goal, you are reacting, your alive, your thinking. A few years ago my saintly mother departed this world at the age of 92. The last words she spoke were " life is too short " . That was pretty heady stuff for a guy with ink on both arms and hair on my shoulders. I,ve pondered that frequently, while sober and drunk, by the way pondering is much easier and more meaninful if your drunk, and as yet am not sure of her intent. I have however decided that life is truly too short for the amount of bullshit that we seem to be assailled with on a daily basis. I am now anti-bullshit. Now being of Irish decent and quite found of distilled potatoes and dark brew i don't mean ordinary, everyday bullshit, which i have been accused of throwing around quite liberally, i mean the serious type. The type of bullshit that comes from areas of so called authority. The were gonna tell you what to do cause your too stupid to function type of bullshit. Government, your boss, liberal pukes, you know the ones that make you stand up and say WTF..... A sort of recent film had a quote which was stolen from, i believe Thomas Jefferson, that says " A people should not fear their government a government should fear its people" . will get into that tomorrow. since i haven't had breakfast yet i believe its time for a bloodymary.
